After years of struggling with chronic obesity, I underwent gastric sleeve surgery and later added GLP-1 medication as another tool in my journey. Together, those tools have helped me lose more than 155 pounds, but the biggest transformation wasn’t just the number on the scale. It was healing my relationship with food, quieting the food noise, building strength, and finally creating habits I could sustain.
As both a nurse and someone with lived experience, I believe weight management isn’t about willpower or perfection. It’s about understanding your body, using evidence-based tools when appropriate, and finding an approach that fits your real life.
My coaching is built on realistic nutrition, beginner-friendly strength training, accountability, and compassion—not shame. You’ll never hear me tell you to be perfect. Instead, I’ll help you build consistency, celebrate progress over perfection, and become stronger physically and mentally.
